APAC Introduces the True-Snap® Setting
Finally a Snap Setting That Truly Works with One Snap.
Now anyone can set stones
NO secondary setting operation needed
Will not crack or chip glass stones
Securely set with just one snap
It's just as simple as it looks. Just position the setting over the stone, push down and listen for the snap. That's it!
For years, snap settings have been available. Manufacturers who use them know that a typical snap setting requires a costly secondary operation to secure the stone into the setting's seat. The design of these existing snap settings only aids in preliminary alignment and placement of the stone, but rarely holds the stone securely without a secondary setting operation. When assembling these settings into earring studs, pendants or leverbacks, snap setting manufacturers generally use soldering or brazing methods. The intense heat caused by soldering methods anneals or softens the setting's alloy allowing the setting to loose all of its snap characteristics.
APAC has developed its snap setting which utilizes spring tension engineered into the setting to align, place and securely hold the stone in just one simple operation. APAC uses welding technology to manufacture True-Snap® earring studs, leverbacks and pendants. Welding technology uses a very focused electrical charge which bond the parts together without subjecting the settings and components to intense heat. Welding not only produces a stronger bond but also allows True-Snap® settings to retain their unique snap characteristic.
True-Snap®, ask for it by name. It's not just another snap setting it's a True-Snap®.
